10 Ways to Get Yourself Into the Christmas Spirit

2020 may have been a crap year but come on, let’s live a little at least for one day

Christmas is almost here. It is just around the corner and the preparations are in full swing.

But for some, this will not be a normal Christmas. We know the reasons but the result is many of us will not be able to have our normal Christmas, with family and friends.

So, I thought I would put together some suggestions to help make the most of the big day and the days following.

  1. Get some exercise. Now I don’t mean anything as radical as hitting the gym, although that is not allowed anyway, but maybe just get out for a walk. The morning is a good time because it will help to get those happy hormones flooding our body.
  2. Have more sex!!! Why not, it is in keeping with point #1 above for all the same reasons. However, keep it within your relationship because to be casting your net further afield would be both dangerous and illegal in many places at the moment.
  3. Have a lie in. I know this seems to contradict #1 above but give yourself permission and don’t feel guilty. Then get up and go for a walk!!
  4. Have a good laugh. Whether you are with family or spending Christmas alone, bang…
