Agree with all this Tom.

It is hard, when you are struggling to NOT look at a successful article, giving advice on how to be successful on Medium and not rehash it into something else, just to get a bit of bounce on one's own figures. However, it is kinda wrong and I agree with you, "get some skin in the game" first and practice the craft.
