Being busy is not the same as being productive — Let me explain

Let me ask you a question.

Are you not making enough progress in your business?

Now, there are many ways to measure progress or success but for this example let’s use income or money. It is something that is quantifiable and business is normally about making money, so let's just use it.

So, what are you doing?

Many of us feel we are busy. We feel we are struggling through the day with not a moment to spare but still, we see little to no progress in our business. Why is that?

Well, have a good, and most importantly, critical look at what is in your typical day. What exactly are you doing?

Analyse the list

Having made the list, how, many of the items on it are ‘income producing’ activities?

Obviously, if you are spending time on Social Media, watching TV, or catching up with friends when you should be working, these would be judged as ‘non-income producing’ activities.
