I can understand the very situations you describe and agree whole heartedly, for many, survival was indeed a triumph.

I am also reminded though, not every one is the same and their idea of survival is to crack on with new ideas and ventures, especially, and this is important, their circumstances allow.

It is important to remember, not everyone is the same and not everyone's circumstances are the same.
