This is so true and I have witnessed it also.

I believe witnessing developing countries like The Philippines is not essential of course but certainly enriching and awakening.

We take so much for granted and although we see signs of hardship and poverty on our TV screens from time to time, it is not until you see it without the screen in front of your eyes and you can smell it and taste it do we truly have the opportunity to understand.
